Integra Foundation Offers New Courses and Trainings
How to start a social enterprise? What job opportunities are offered to people with disabilities? Who can be employed in a special status workplace? For those interested in these topics, we have prepared a number of interesting trainings and courses. We have extensive experiences in the area of self-employment and we would like to offer our know-how to non-profit organizations, businesses and anyone who finds these topics relevant. First fairtrade schools in Slovakia
The first five Slovak schools will work towards receiving the Fair trade school certificate. Integra has launched a development education project supported by the Slovak Aid. On September 26.-27., students and teachers from the whole Slovakia attended a workshop on how to become a fair trade school. The lecturer and the guarantor of the project, Ms. Lynette Aitken from the Fairtrade Foundation, introduced the Fair trade school scheme
In the UK and presented several inspiring ideas for the teachers and the students on how to integrate fair trade in the activities of their schools. After each school establishes a steering committee, the group should them organize activities to promote fair trade among the students. Fair trade will also be included in the curriculum of various subjects such as ethics, geography or English. Once the schools will have met all the criteria, they will be the first ones to receive the Fair trade school certificates.
